Adidas drop the special edition X Crazylight, which arrives with modern tech and a throwback look. Adidas first brought Crazylight technology to football with the Adizero F50 Crazylight in March 2014, the lightest football boot ever produced at that time, weighing in at a mere 135g. Of course, the Adizero 16 "99gram" came along shortly after, smashing that short-lived record, but it didn’t diminish the influence of Crazylight and the legacy it left. X Crazylight strips back, while maintaining comfort with the Aerocage+ upper for support and stability at high speeds. The boot's design is optimized for lightweight function, including super-light laces and sockliners. AEROPLATE technology on the soleplate keeps weight to a minimum. The throwback aesthetic nods to the 2014 and 2015 versions in "Lucid Lemon/White/Solar Red".
