Released in 2016 to celebrate the 16th generation of the Adizero, the Adidas Adizero 16 "99 Gram" is a brand new example — style code BB1808 — of the boot that shattered the 100-gram barrier to become the world's lightest football boot ever created at the time. Limited to just 299 pairs worldwide, this ultra-rare boot represents the absolute pinnacle of lightweight performance technology.
Every element of the Adizero 16 99G was engineered with one obsessive goal: break the 99-gram barrier. The ultra-thin textile upper is extraordinarily light yet durable, and the 1mm polyamide soleplate delivers both featherweight construction and rigid stability. In the ultimate pursuit of perfection, one heel stud was removed to shave off those final precious grams — the result: 99 grams, a number that changed football boot history.
