The evolution of a revolution. Released in 2012, the Nike GS Concept II is the follow-up to the legendary GS Concept I โ the boot that sold out within 24 hours of launch and sent the entire boot world into a frenzy. Nike couldnโt ignore the overwhelming demand, so they came back with the GS Concept II: same groundbreaking 160g construction, same pioneering recycled and renewable materials philosophy โ now with the critical addition of ACC (All Conditions Control) technology for consistent ball control in wet and dry conditions. Conceived and engineered in Italy, the GS Concept II is one of the most environmentally progressive and collectible football boots ever produced.
The bio-based traction plate is made primarily from castor beans โ delivering strength and flexibility on the pitch from renewable plant-based materials. The sock liner is made from 100% castor beans. The laces, lining, and tongue are constructed from a minimum of 70% recycled materials, while the toeboard and collar feature at least 15% recycled materials. Every component optimised to reduce weight and waste โ resulting in Nikeโs lightest football boot ever at just 160 grams.
