The Nike AZT90 IV Supremacy was made in celebration of Italy becoming World Champions in 2006, after beating France in the World Cup Final. Nike only produced 250 pairs of the 4 star Gold Collectors editions. The boot featured many unique aspects displayed and were made available to the Italian International Team, including the likes of Materazzi, Zambrotta, Bonera, Gattuso, Pirlo, Gilhardinho, Laquinta and the captain Cannavaro. They were to be worn exclusively in international matches and the special edition releases were available in the Nike Mercurial Vapor series, the Nike AZTIV Supremacy series and the Nike Tiempo Legend collection. What an incredible boot and even more incredible colourway. Something about that Gold and Blue combination.. Wow. And it’s a miracle we could even get our hands on them.
